How it works
Doozle's Den is a private space for you and your dog! That means no other dogs (or humans, besides staff) will be there. Reservations are available for 30 or 45 minutes at a time and there is a 15 minute window between reservations to ensure you do not encounter another dog in the space, as well as to allow time for cleaning.

You may reserve the space for 30 or 45 minutes, for up to two dogs living in the same household or you can add one buddy from another household.

You are booking this private space to spend one-on-one time with your dog. You may use the agility equipment provided, work on training skills or just let your dog run around and have fun. You must stay in the space with your dog and be responsible for your dog at all times. No children under 10 please.
If you are adding on a dog buddy from another household the dogs must already be friends and socialized. Please do not use the space for a first meeting.

Because of the nature of our services, we do lock the door during sessions and are appointment only. And if you notice the curtains are closed that means there is a happy pup having fun inside!

It's also important to note there are no expectations of your dog interacting with us. We LOVE dogs, but also respect their boundaries and our purpose for Doozle's Den.

Things to know:
Doozle's Den is located on Hampton Avenue in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood.
Here's some parking information.
You will have reserved parking in the small lot at Hampton & Itaska (next to Dragonfly Fitness). Depending on the day, you may be able to park right in front of Doozle's Den. If you have a reactive dog and want some additional info or have more questions please include that when you make your reservation. We will provide some specific instructions on parking according to your visit day/time in order to ensure you have the best visit possible!
Please always keep your dog on a leash when coming to and leaving Doozle's Den.
Be aware of other dogs and people when arriving and exiting the space. Please be courteous and remember that even if your dog is friendly, not everyone or every dog is comfortable with others. We love having this space and want to be good neighbors!
Please ensure your dog has had plenty of time to potty before coming in to Doozle's Den.
There's lots of exciting smells and new things at Doozle's Den. Please give your dog extra time to potty before leaving home. (We do have a bathroom for humans though!)
The space will only be rented to you during your time.
A staff member will check you in. If your dog is fine with new people and you would like a quick demo on using the equipment just let us know when you arrive. You can watch some demo videos here.
If your dog is extremely shy/fearful of new people or needs a very easy way in to avoid other dogs or people please email to make special arrangements instead of using reservation tool.
We understand that some dogs may need special accommodations. Please email us with more details so we can determine the best way to ensure you and your dog have the best experience possible. It's also important to note that there are no expectations of your dog interacting with us! We LOVE dogs, but also respect their boundaries and our purpose for Doozle's Den.
All dogs must be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, and free of any contagious diseases.
You must provide proof upon booking a reservation. No exceptions. If your dog has been to a boarding facility we ask that you wait three weeks before coming to Doozle's Den. If your dog is attending with a buddy they must be spayed/neutered.
Please plan to arrive and depart on time.
It's important for us to keep this a safe space for shy dogs, reactive dogs or dogs who just prefer to not encounter other dogs. Please plan to arrive and depart on time. While we cannot control other people/dogs in the area, we do want to ensure that our space is always clear (and as clean as possible) upon arrival times.
We strive for a clean play space.
While every effort is made to ensure a clean space free of germs and disease, there is always a risk that your dog could pick up something from another dog who has used the space. Accidents occasionally happen and those areas are always sanitized before the next appointment. A deep cleaning of the entire space is done after a full day. Dog bowls are always washed after one use.
I know there's a lot to take in, but if you read Our Story then you'll understand!
I want Doozle's Den to be a place where all pet parents can relax and bond with their dog!
Other info:
We encourage you to bring treats to Doozle's Den for your pup! At this time we do not have treats for purchase, but have a small stash in case you forget!

This space is designed for reactive dogs. While there are windows, there is a curtain across the entire space. Your dog will be able to enjoy Doozle's Den without any distractions from outside!
